SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CENTERS
At FHCGA, we aim to get children healthy and help them stay healthy. Our School-Based Health Centers are one way we achieve those goals. We've partnered with several local school systems to provide on-site healthcare for your little ones from elementary school through high school.
If your child gets sick while at school, all they have to do is head to our onsite clinic for help from our doctors. Instead of having to take time off work and try to schedule a same-day appointment with your regular pediatrician (many times, unsuccessfully), you can stay at your workplace knowing that we are taking good care of your precious cargo. Plus, the sooner we see and diagnose your child, the fewer sick days they'll need off from school and the likelihood of any sickness spreading to other students is reduced.
At our school-based centers, we offer numerous services and programs to ensure children get the best, high-quality healthcare that will enable them to grow, develop and thrive.
- Asthma Management
- Behavioral Health Management
- Chronic Disease Support
- Health Education
- Nutritional Counseling
Our team of school-based physicians excels at keeping kids healthy and helping them stay in school. We look forward to caring for your child's health and well-being.
Our current school-based health center partners are Clayton County Public Schools, Douglas County School System, and Fulton County Schools. We are proud to operate the first school-based health center for each county and the first high-school based health center in Georgia.
